Heart Piece/Container Locations
Here are all the Heart Piece/Container locations throughout the game. I tried to be as detailed as possible on where they are. If you still need help or don't know where I'm referring to, just email me and I'll be glad to help you!! Enjoy!!
As a Child:
The Great Deku Tree:
*After you beat Queen Gohma, you should receive a Heart Container.
Lost Woods:
*Play Saria's Song to the lone skull kid to the left of the entrance to the woods and he'll give you a Heart Piece.
*Repeat the two skull kid's songs repeatedly until they give you a Heart Piece.
Hyrule Field:
*Go to the entrance of Lake Hylia, in that fenced in patch of grass, bomb the very center of it, drop down into the hole and buy a Heart Piece for 10 Rupees.
Lon Lon Ranch:
*After you move all the boxes in the shed, crawl through the small hole and get the Heart Piece.
Hyrule Market/Castle:
*You will receive a Heart Piece whenever you complete one of the bombchu games.
*At night, find the woman's missing dog and take it back to her, she'll give you a Heart Piece.
*At night, go to the shop where you can play the Treasure Box Game, use the Lens of Truth and make your way through the rooms until you reach the Heart Piece.
Kakariko Village:
*After you collect 50 gold skulltula tokens, go to the skulltula family and you'll receive a Heart Piece.
*There's a Heart Piece in with the cow where Impa used to live.
Graveyard:
*At night, go see Dampe and pay him to dig around the graves. After a while you should dig up the Heart Piece.
*As child or adult, play the Song of Sun to the lone ReDead and you'll receive a Heart Piece.
Death Mountain Trail:
*There's a Heart Piece over top the entrance to the Dodongo's Cavern.
Goron City:
*Light all the torches, then throw a bomb into the vase, if the vase stops on the smiley face then you'll get a Heart Piece.
Dodongo's Cavern:
*After you defeat King Dodongo you'll get a Heart Container.
Death Mountain Crater:
*As child or adult, there's a hole in the wall with a Heart Piece in it.
Zora's River:
*After you make all the frogs big by playing all the non-warp songs, play the bug catching game and win and they'll give you a Heart Piece.
*Up on a high platform in the middle of the river is a Heart Piece, use a Chicken to glide to it.
*Use the chicken again to get the other Heart Piece that's near the waterfall.
*You get a Heart Piece when you play Song of Storms for the frogs.
Zora's Domain:
*Light all the torches and a Heart Piece will be behind the waterfall.
Jabu-Jabu's Belly:
*After you defeat Barinade, you'll receive the Heart Container.
Lake Hylia:
*If you catch a 10 pound fish in the Fishing Game you'll get a Heart Piece.
Gerudo Valley:
*As child or adult, use a chicken to glide onto the ledge of the platform and break the crate open to find a Heart Piece.
*Behind the waterfall is a Heart Piece, you'll have to climb up the ladder to get to it.
As Adult:
Death Mountain Crater:
*Ride the Magic Bean Leaf to the top of the small volcano. Get the Heart Piece.
Desert Colossus:
*Ride the Magic Bean Leaf to the top of the stone arch and get the Heart Piece.
Gerudo's Fortress:
*Win the Horseback Archery Contest and receive another Heart Piece.
*In the chest that's on top of the Fortress.
Kakariko Village:
*There is one up on a ledge inside the Windmill.
*Get up on the roof and talk with the guy that has been stuck up there, he'll give you a Heart Piece.
Graveyard:
*Race Dampe and beat his ghost in a minute or less.
*Ride a Magic Bean Leaf up to a platform, break the crate, and get the Heart Piece.
Hyrule Field:
*The last tree going towards Gerudo Valley from the Castle, bomb it, and drop in the hole. Then use the Zora Tunic and Iron boots to go underwater and get the Heart Piece.
Ice Cavern:
*In one of the ice rooms, it is frozen under red ice, you'll have to thaw it out with Blue Fire.
Lake Hylia:
*If you dive all the way to the bottom of the pool in the Lakeside Laboratory, he'll give you a Heart Piece.
*Ride the Magic Bean Leaf to the top of the laboratory and then climb the ladder and get the Heart Piece.
Zora's Fountain:
*There is a Heart Piece on a single piece of ice that is floating in the fountain.
*Use the Zora's Tunic and the Iron boots to sink to the bottom of the fountain and get the Heart Piece down there.
Forest Temple:
*You'll get a Heart Container after you defeat the Phantom Ganon.
Shadow Temple:
*You'll get a Heart Container after you defeat Bongo Bongo.
Spirit Temple:
*You'll get a Heart Container after you defeat Twinrova.
Fire Temple:
*You'll get a Heart Container after you defeat Volvagia.
Water Temple:
*You'll get a Heart Container after you defeat Morpha.
