Equipment
Here is some information on the equipment that you locate throughout the game. This is the equipment, like swords, shields, item bags, etc.. These are the items that are on the Equipment Status Screen.
The Kokiri Tunic- This is your main clothing throughout the game. You are already equipped with this tunic when you begin the game.
The Kokiri Boots- These are your main boots. You are already equipped with these when you begin the game.
The Kokiri Sword- This is the first sword that you will have. You find this near the Kokiri Training Grounds. This is a main weapon that you have as a kid.
The Deku Shield- This shield you have to buy in the Kokiri Forest. It costs 40 Rupees. It's a very useful shield, only it burns up when it's touched by fire.
The Deku Seed Bag- You get the Deku Seed Bag whenever you get the Slingshot. There are two upgrades to this bag. The first one is in the Lost Woods. When you enter, turn right, shoot the bulls-eye 3 times in a row and you'll get the first upgrade. The second is in the Hyrule Market. Go to the Shooting Gallery and win and you'll get the second upgrade.
The Goron's Bracelet- You get this bracelet right after you first talk to Darunia. This allows you to pick up bomb flowers. 
The Bomb Bag- You get this bag in Dodongo's Cavern. After you get the bag you are able to carry bombs around with you anywhere. There are two upgrades available. One is in Hyrule Market, play the Bombchu Bowling game and win one of the times and get one upgrade, the other is in Goron City. The one in Goron City, is across a lava pit and you have to get across and drop in the hole.
The Hylian Shield- This shield can be purchased at the Bazaar after you talk to the guard at Kakariko Village, go to the shop and get a discount) for 60 Rupees or you can get it in the Graveyard in Kakariko Village. This is a heavy shield for a child to carry around, but it's very useful.
The Mirror Shield- This shield is at Desert Colossus. After you go through the temple, you'll come outside all the way to the top of the statue, the shield is in a treasure chest at the top. This shield reflects light and magic spells.The Master Sword- This is your main evil fighting sword. You receive this sword after you collect the three spiritual stones and learn and play the Song of Time in front of the Door of Time. This sword is rested in the stone pedestal beyond the Door of Time.
The Goron's Knife- This sword can be bought by the big Goron in Goron City for 200 Rupees. It looks superb but it's very flimsy and will break almost as soon as you buy it.
The Biggoron's Sword- This sword is a much better upgrade than the Goron's Knife. You can receive this sword after you complete a series of trading among different people in Hyrule. After you do receiver it, you'll find out that it is more effective than the Master Sword.
The Goron Tunic- This tunic may be given to you by Darunia's son, Link, or you can buy one for 200 Rupees. This tunic allows you to stay in extremely hot places for a long period of time. It's very useful in the Death Mountain Crater. 
The Zora Tunic- This tunic may be given to you from King Zora after you free him with Blue ice or you can buy one for 300 Rupees. This tunic allows you to stay underneath the water for a very long time. It's useful when you have to go to the bottom of lakes and fountains.
The Iron Boots- The iron boots are found in the Ice Cavern. They allow you to sink to the bottom of watery areas.
The Hover Boots- These boots are found inside the Shadow Temple. They allow you to hover over areas or things for a very short period of time.
The Silver Scale- You receive this scale after you win the Diving Contest at Zora's Domain. This allows you to dive deeper than you use to, but not the deepest.The Gold Scale- You get this scale after catching a fish that is over 20 pounds at the Fishing Game (fishing pond next to Lake Hylia). This allows you to dive the deepest you can dive.
The Silver Gauntlets- You get these gauntlets after you go all the way through the Spirit Temple as a child. You can't use these until you're an adult. You're able to pick up heavy things such as boulders, etc. with these gauntlets. These aren't the strongest gauntlets, though.
The Gold Gauntlets- You get these in the Shadow Room in Ganon's Castle. These are the most powerful gauntlets and they enable you to pick up the heaviest things in Hyrule.
Arrow Quiver- You can get this quiver after you receive the Fairy Bow. There are two upgrades to the quiver, one is in Kakariko Village, play the arrow game and get an upgrade, the other is near the Gerudo Fortress, you have to get 1600 or more points at the Horseback Archery Range.
